The Someya Lab is housed within the Departments of Physiology and Aging and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Florida. Our lab seeks to understand how mitochondria regulate the sense of hearing and to translate these discoveries into new strategies to prevent and treat hearing loss.
