I am committed to helping my trainees achieve the scientific and career goals they set for themselves. I encourage my trainees to present their preliminary work at local, national or international meetings. Someya lab students and trainees also publish research papers and have received several university and national awards.

Undergraduate students

- Assist in genotyping of mice
- Assist in histological analysis
- Maintain animal behavioral testing rooms and equipment
- Assist with data entry for research
- Develop scientific presentations, posters, and papers
- Participate in laboratory meetings for research purposes
